Wang Wenzhe is an interdisciplinary artist.
His installation work involves objects with strong elements of hearsay, exploring how people come to hold firm, unchangeable perceptions and beliefs by attempting to verify these rumors through various means. He aims to use the objective existences within the installation to directly alter reality itself.
Wenzhe was born in Beijing, China in 2000. He graduate MA from the Royal College of Art in 2024. He has exhibited in the UK and abroad including shows at Tate modern, Cookhouse Gallery in London, and WIELS in Brussels. Wenzhe Wang lives and works in London, UK.
